Corona Thoughts, part 32 (Monday, Monday...)

4.20.2020

Monday.

There was a lot to do today for work.  After we got started and had coffee on the porch, we both worked on stuff for work until around noon.  Stephanie went to meet the folks from Blooming Grove for Sadie's lunch.  Otherwise, the day was uneventful except for a brief run to town for some gardening supplies and chicken feed.

The roof rails for the Subaru came today along with the front license plate bracket, so I spent a few minutes installing those.

I fixed supper tonight.  Beef liver and onions with Brussels sprouts.  Don't knock it until you've tried it!

After supper, I introduced Sadie to a childhood favorite of mine:  Disney's Adventures of the Gummi Bears.  I guess she liked it since she asked to watch a second episode.

For the family, there is not much to say, other than the fact that we are now well over a month into this craziness.  We are trying to decide how to break the monotony for this weekend.  Several options lie before us...

The price of oil did tank today, which is bad.  In fact, the price of oil went negative.  One thing that would help is to allow the economy of Texas and the other states to drive up demand for the oil.  I would love to take the RV on a road trip right now, but with the shelter in place, the state parks are only open to day use.  Absolute nonsense, that!

Jamaica Beach, Day 4

Today started slow, as vacation days should.  No real plans other than a bit of shopping and a nap. Quick breakfast and then helped Brandon....
