Friday.
It has been over one month. In fact, on March 17th (St. Patrick's Day) we had family over, and it was the last bit of normalcy we had. At that time school was only to be delayed a week. Oh, to have known. I am ready to be able to change the names of these blog posts.
The weather changed today. Yesterday was warm and pleasant, and I was able to spend a bit of time outside, but today the weather was much cooler and wet. It was pleasant enough for coffee, however, until the rains and cold air joined us.
After spending the morning grading essays, I did plant a few roses I had bought the other day in Tyler.
Governor Abbot announced that the State Parks would be opening with restrictions, but the details were slim. Some rumor has been that it would only be for day-use. Who knows.
While Sadie worked on cleaning her room and Stephanie worked on her novel I spent a bit of time with the guitar and learned that I can sing "On The Banks of the Ohio" better with a capo at the 5th Fret.
Since we tried to watch an episode of The Chosen the other night and it was having trouble streaming, we decided to check out Episode 5 earlier when fewer people would be on.
Mom and Dad went back to Tyler since the azaleas are on sale. I asked them to pick up another red double-knockout rose for in front of the studio porch. When they got home they called and asked Brandon and me to help with a chore. It did not take long.
We had supper when I got home. I played around on the guitar a little bit; I am really enjoying it, and feel like I have come a long way in a short time - Thanks, 'Rona!
Evenings entertainment - ST: TNG; A chapter from "Little Town on the Prairie;" and after Sadie went to bed, The Last Kingdom.
We are becoming way too predictable!
