Tuesday. Work to do today for classes, and Stephanie has the same. It is cold again today, but not rainy, which is good.
There was a new calf born behind the house this morning. The buzzards were particularly troubling to the pair.
After a bit of work this morning I paid the electric bill and went to Aldi for bacon and a few other items that we needed. It was a quick trip. I would say about 40% were wearing the masks while the rest were not. More and more activity in social media tells me that people are beginning to question how this thing is being handled. I know that we are.
The stimulus check came today. We are considering the best way to make use of it.
In order to prepare for summer vacation, I ordered top rails for the Forester. We need to decide on a cargo carrier for the top.
I suppose I was in a funk today. It did not help when my contract came in and there was apparently no step raise this time. Brandon checked his and it isn't an error on mine. We will see if it was something wrong across the board or if we, in fact, will not be seeing our experience step applied.
Amazon got the coffee order right today. I noticed on the walk to the mailbox that the cattle have chosen a sunny spot in the field. They are peaceful today.
Stephanie cooked the ham that we didn't fix at Easter, and I did a bit more for class in preparation for the summer courses. She also had a nice brief visit with a friend from Keller High School. After that, we watched Episode 3 of The Chosen. This one was particularly sweet. Episode 4 dealt with Simon Peter and Andrew, mostly.
Our journey with Uhtred continued as well, and we prepared for another day of self-imposed (yet socially pressured) exile.
