We slept in, then set out for pastries at the German Bakery in town . Peach Danish and Nutella-stuff croissants, and a Bavarian cream pastry. Really, really good.
Wildseed Farms was a cool stop, and we bought some seeds and cool items. Walking the gardens was a peaceful experience.
Then we drove toward Johnson City but the Meadery was closed. Next to Untamed, but it was a sit-down tasting, which isn't what we are used to. Most wineries that we are used to charge $5 for a sampling, but it is much more expensive here.
Fat Ass Winery is known for its peach wine, so we bought a bottle to take back with us. This one was more down to earth. Even had a saddle pad signed by George Strait.
Dad wanted to go back to Main Street in town, so that is what we did. Rustic Rob's has tons of items to sample, and for a second day in a row, we spent money there.
Back to camp for a late lunch and some rest. Hot dogs in the grill tonight.
A nice couple from Ft. Worth hosted a jam tonight so I got a change to pick a little. A good way to end the trip!
Tomorrow we head home again...
