Rain!

This has been such a wet spring.  I have lost track of how many inches of rain we have received over the past few months.  Tornados nearby a few weeks ago.  Schools to the south and entire towns flooded!  Wild!

Last night this monster came through.  So much lightening.

2.7 inches of rain.

And when checking animals, we found thousands of these guys.  Upon investigation, we think they are horsehair worms.  Harmless to mammals but go after insects like crickets and grasshoppers.

We are expecting more rain through the week.
