Summer is always a time of high anticipation, and now that Stephanie is done with summer school the road-trippin' begins.
As previously said, our Florida adventure was cancelled due to insane gas prices. We have a trip planned to the Texas coast soon, but when special deals came available for North Texas Jellystone Park, we jumped on it. Three days to shake out the cobwebs.
First off, this Jellystone is HUGE! It has the typical Jellystone attractions as well as a water park. The lazy river got most of our attention!
When I called to book I had one requirement - shade. And that was provided in one of their pull through sites. We were also near the central activity hub.
Golf carts everywhere to rent! It makes sense because there is a lot of walking to be done. Our evening strolls though the new (and much hotter) section was fun. And it helped the Fitbit counts!
We will be back, but it is hard to say which of the two Jellystones is our favorite:. Burleson and Tyler are two very different parks.
