Jamaican Cuisine

As Texas continues to bake with 100+ temps, we spend a scorching afternoon in nearby Waco to do some shopping.  And while we were there, we tried Jamaican food.

The closest experience for me was last summer in Marathon when we tried Cuban cuisine, and I have craves it since.

So when we heard that a Jamaican restaurant had opened we sought it out.  And it was so good!

In order to try as much as we could, we each chose a dish and shared.  Oxtails, curry chicken, and Jerk Shrimp were our choices, and each was served with carribean rice, cabbage slaw, and fried plantains.

It took some time to get there, but it was worth it!  We will be back!
