Jamaica Beach, Day 3

July 17

The day started relatively early.  I got my surf gear loaded on the bike and we went to the beach access. Few people other than fishermen were down there.  I set up my 2 rods just beyond the bollards.

Brandon and his family joined us as well, and Mom and Dad drove over as well.  By 10:30, though, it was getting crowded and swimmers started getting too close to my lines.  So, back to the lazy river.  Lunch was a funnel cake from Arney's Bayside Grill, the food truck at the resort.

In the afternoon we laid down for naps while everyone else went to The Strand.  Then we met at Miller's.  So much food, and so good!

Back at Jamaica Beach we played golf on their mini course.  They have a mated pair of tortoises.  Who have babies!  Sadie was allowed to hold one

This is the last night for Brandon and family; they go home tomorrow.   A bit if discussing concerning next year's vacation occurred as well.

Jamaica Beach, Day 4

Today started slow, as vacation days should.  No real plans other than a bit of shopping and a nap. Quick breakfast and then helped Brandon....
